Art Show, Benefit/Fundraiser

On Thursday, May 23rd between 6 and 8 pm, the lobby of Treasure Valley Community College Caldwell Center will transform into an art gallery. Featured will be exemplary works by art students and veterans currently enrolled in art classes at T.V.C.C. Proceeds from art raffles and sales will be donated to the Idaho Veterans Network and Hope’s Door women’s shelter in Caldwell. The evening’s events will include a briefing and personal testimony on how to support someone who has experienced P.T.S.D. (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) Attendees are encouraged to bring an item of non-perishable food and will receive one raffle ticket per item. Donated framed artworks, security blankets, and George W. Bush’s Portraits of Courage will be given away during the evening. Refreshments will be provided by T.V.C.C.’s Campus Christian Fellowship and Thrivent Financial.
