Private Gardens Tour

Gardening, Tour

This year’s 35th anniversary of the Idaho Botanical Garden’s Private Gardens Tour explores nine private gardens in North West Boise, from the Highlands Area to Hidden Springs on Sunday, June 9. Experience manicured landscapes, wild habitat, and everything in between! The Private Gardens Tour was originally founded by the Lunaria League. A grant established in its name funds educational projects throughout the state. The 2019 tour features cottage-style gardens with a variety of flowering plants, drought-tolerant landscapes, a woodland-style garden on a historic apple orchard, and inspired outdoor living spaces. Begin the tour and get a tour map at Edwards Greenhouse or at Hidden Springs Community Farm. You can make a day of it---enjoy music and the beauty of the Edwards Greenhouse Legacy Garden with an iced coffee from Form & Function and a wood-fired pizza from Off the Grid Pizza. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 9. $30 members, $35 nonmembers. Advance tickets available through Idaho Botanical Garden, Tickets on the day of the tour may be purchased at either Edwards Greenhouse or Hidden Springs Community Farm.
