Machine Gun Kelly

Rap/Hip Hop

Machine Gun Kelly is Richard Colson Baker, a rapper from Cleveland whose sharp wit has been praised from the most cosmopolitan of music critics. In 2011 the New York Times critic Jon Caramanica wrote "Hes a fantastic stylist, a lineal descendent of hometown pioneers Bone Thugs-N-Harmony or Chicago rappers like Twista and Crucial Conflict, who married speed and dexterity in unconventional ways. Hes a student, like Action Bronson, whos part of a long legacy of white rappers, largely from the Northeast, keeping the sound of mid-90s New York alive."
