Join ONE members in Boise for Advocacy in Action! ONE is a global movement campaigning to end extreme poverty and preventable disease by 2030. In 2019, we are focusing on two campaigns critical in reaching this goal: The Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB & Malaria and the Global Fragility Act of 2019. Get ready for summer fun with our Summer Reading Sale! Sale will feature high quality children’s and youth books, paperback and hardcover fiction, nonfiction, CDs, audio books, and movies! Sale hours will be from 10am to 5pm both Friday and Saturday. Sale is located on the porch of the Main Library at 715 S. Capitol Blvd., Boise, ID.

Promoting Peaceful Foreign Policy in 2019

The Idaho Peace Coalition presents Kevin Martin, President of Peace Action the nation's largest peace and justice group. Kevin will provide critical analysis on U.S. foreign policy in Venezuela, Syria, Iran, Korea and other places where the U.S. is intervening. Kevin will also address the current administration's nuclear weapons production and deployment policy. Key to Kevin's message is the power of citizen activism and the current national campaigns for peace and justice. The program is free and open to the public.
